Good question.
Here’s the line.

Each team receives private time to review and discuss its completed turn before play moves on. After a team finishes that review and taps Continue, it waits on the Standby screen until its next turn or the next shared game screen.

Keeping drawings private from teams that are not taking the turn also helps preserve the word library, so a word remains as fresh as possible if it appears again in a future game. Players sharing the same physical space may still reveal words or clues by talking aloud, of course.

The simple answer is yes.

Individual words do not require a great deal of storage, but including many complete language libraries from the outset would steadily increase the size of every installation. We want to keep the initial app as lean and accessible as we reasonably can.

Once our server infrastructure is in place, we plan to begin adding more languages without requiring every player to download every available language library.
