Play Modes

Same easel.
A different kind of pressure.

Classic Draw is the foundation. Play Modes explains the rules and setup choices that change when a mode takes that foundation somewhere new.

The baseline

Classic Draw keeps one drawer active.

One player draws during the team’s turn while their teammates guess. Its shared setup controls are covered on the Game Setup page.

Dual Draw

Two teammates draw at the same time. Guessers can switch between both active easels while the drawings continue to update.

  • Two active drawers: Both receive a word and draw simultaneously for the same team.
  • Clear difficulty labels: The update screen identifies which drawer has which difficulty without revealing either word.
  • One shared turn: The selected word rule decides whether one solve or both solves are required.

Dual Draw options

Decide what the pair is solving.

Both drawers · same word

Both drawers receive the same target. A correct solve ends the challenge.

Different words · solve one

Each drawer receives a different target. Solving either one completes the turn.

Different words · solve both

The team must solve both targets. When both are solved, the team earns the double-solve bonus point.

Solved Drawer May Guess

When enabled for “solve both,” a drawer whose word has been solved may help guess the other word.

The additional options appear only when the selected play mode supports them.

One important team-play distinction.

In team play, the double-solve bonus belongs to the team when the team solves both words. The same individual player does not need to supply both correct guesses.
